THREE CARD POKER
Three Card Poker is a great casino table game which is very easy to play; loosely based on the British game of three card brag the object of the game is to beat the dealer. There are two kinds of bets you can place in this game the first is against the dealer. You place your chosen ante and both you and the dealer are dealt 3 cards, if you like your hand you choose to play which means betting again the same amount as your ante to continue. The dealer shows his hand and if your hand is higher you win.
The dealer must have Ace – queen high to qualify for a hand and you are paid odds dependant on your hands strength. A Pair: Evens, a Flush: 4 to 1, a Straight: 6 to 1, 3 of a kind: 30 to 1, a straight flush: 40 to 1.
On your higher hands you are also paid an ante bonus a bonus payout of evens for a straight, three of a kind 4 to 1 and a straight flush pays an ante bonus of 5 to 1.
The second betting option is the “pair plus” bet, this is a side bet that pays you good odds based in your hands value rather than trying to beat the dealer, odds are as follows: pair = evens, flush pays 3 to1, a straight pays 6 to 1, three of a kind is 30 to 1 and a straight flush 40 to 1.
