eCOGRA Hires Three New Professionals

eCOGRA has hired three new accounting professionals to join their ranks. All three new employees are Chartered Accountants with strong educational backgrounds which will stand them in good stead at eCOGRA.
The Chief Executive Officer of eCOGRA, Andrew Beveridge, said that the three new employees were specifically chosen because of the skills and experience they bring with them. All were top performers at their previous places of employment.
Two of the new employees, Sean Roberts and Bradley Khoury will be joining the Compliance and Advisory Services Department (CAS). The CAS Department performs reviews and inspection services to software providers and Internet casino operators, as well as offering advice to them. The department also validates programs and software according to industry accepted practices and to the more specific eCOGRA requirements.
The third new employee, Gareth Muirhead, will be coming on board with the Data Department. This department do the actual auditing and evaluation of the gaming software used by Internet software providers.
Andrew Beveridge, eCOGRA’s CEO said “eCOGRA has reached a state now that we can offer these individuals a very exciting opportunity to advance themselves both professionally and personally.”
eCOGRA stands for e-Commerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance. This non-profit business is a watchdog for online gambling standards. Online casinos, affiliate websites and online gaming software providers that bear the eCOGRA seal have shown that they stand up to the test of eCOGRA’s standards. Independent auditors ensure that eCOGRA-approved companies are up to standard with regards to fair games, prompt payments, honest advertising, safe storage of information and responsible behavior.
