Leonardo DiCaprio – Not a Gamble

casino

A new film is being planned in Hollywood that will bring online casinos to the big screen, along with a favorite actor, Leonardo DiCaprio.  A number of other films have included content showing land-based casinos and poker games.  For example, James Bond films include scenes showing 007 playing Baccarat, Chemin de Fer, in land-based casinos.  In a more recent Bond film, he plays no-limit Texas Hold’em poker.

The new film, as yet untitled, is to be set in Central America, in Costa Rica, and has been written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien.  Both these scriptwriters have had experience writing about other forms of gambling, most notably in the films Rounders and Ocean’s Thirteen.

Rounders portrayed poker with both its shady side, and its lighter side.  Ocean Thirteen is a film that centers around a Las Vegas casino.  In both these films, Koppelman and Levien have shown their understanding and ability to excellently portray the gambling world, and have portrayed it in a good light.  Although cautiously optimistic, the online gambling world expect the film to give the online gambling industry much publicity and that the film will put the industry in a good light.

Those who wonder whether the film will be a good one are not taking much of a gamble when they assume that it will be because Leonardo DiCaprio does not take on bad roles, and is unlikely to begin doing so now.

The film will be brought to viewers by Paramount Pictures, however, at this time, no production date has been set.
