all news

Dragonfish, the business to business division created by the UK gambling group, 888 Holdings, has announced a lucrative new deal signed with the South African gaming group, Tsogo Sun Gaming.

The terms of the deal mean that Dragonfish will provide Tsogo Gun Gaming with an online gambling platform that will incorporate casino, bingo, sports betting and poker products.

“Dragonfish’s technology infrastructure provides an excellent platform for partnerships with land based casinos,” said Gabi Campos, the Managing Director of the recently created Dragonfish. “TSG’s casinos provide a world-class, personalised gaming experience, and through partnering with Dragonfish we can provide them with the expertise and cutting-edge online gaming solutions to convert their strong brand into a successful position in the online gaming world.”

Tsogo Sun Gaming Group currently serves over 21 million customers each year that walk through the doors of its seven quality casinos in South Africa.

This is the second deal that 888 has signed this month, after the group penned one of the most lucrative deals announced in the industry this year with the US casino giant, Harrah’s Entertainment. The deal would see Harrah’s enter the ever-growing UK online gambling market.

“This partnership is the first of many targeted at regulated markets, where Dragonfish’s partners operate under local licenses and enjoy the benefits of such regulatory arrangement,” said Campos.

888 Holdings shares jumped on the London Stock Exchange today, currently trading 0.09 p higher at 94.25 p.
