Direct Seats Sold Out for the Boylepoker International Poker Open 2009
Sep 30, 2009
Boylepoker – a member of the successful Irish sportsbetting company BoyelSports – has recently announced they have sold out all of their direct buy-in seats for the Boylepoker.com International Poker Open 2009.
The $225 + $25 buy-in event is on target to smash its own previous entry record of 1,300 players – and 1,347 more players entering the event would make it the largest poker tournament ever outside the USA.
Paul Spillane, the head of Boylepoker.com said, "We’re delighted to have sold out the direct buy-ins almost three weeks before cards are in the air but there are still plenty of opportunities for players to qualify through our online satellites. Also expect some more announcements before the biggest game in town gets underway!"
The few remaining buy-in seats for the tournament (Day 1A) on October 16th at Dublin’s Regency Hotel sold out just over the weekend with Day 1B seats having sold out the previous week. However the online poker room also has plenty of indirect ways and satellite tournaments for eager poker players to gain entry to the Irish event.
Boylepoker players can achieve entry to the beguiling $25,000 added no-limit hold’em tournament from as little as $5 + 50c. And with the incredible story of 23-year old Adrien Allain who won over HK $3 million at the recent APT Macau Main event by qualifying in a $5 PKR satellite tournament, players have no reason to doubt there chances at the big prize!
Players can enter the $5 + $.50 satellite at 8:30pm on Sunday and Tuesday with one re-buy available. Selected players in this event will then be entered into the Thursday $25 + $2.5 freeze out super satellite where one ticket will be awarded to day 1A for every $250 in the prize pool.
However the exciting tournament news doesn’t stop there! This year’s Boylepoker.com International Poker Open is also including an innovative VIP Club points promotion feature which gives all players the opportunity to increase their starting chip stack the live tournament in Berlin from 8,000 up to 10,000 – simply by playing online at Boylepoker.com!
Last years IPO champion Irishman Ruairi Coy took home 37,530 Euros from a prize pool encumbering over 205,000 worth of Euro currency – 32,000 of which was added by Boylepoker.com
