Another Isle of Man Newspapers Award for Microgaming

Over the past few years, microgaming has won various awards from the Isle of Man Newspapers awards. This year, Microgaming won the award for Innovation and Independent Thinking. This award is won by the company that shows excellence across both the business sector, and in the community.
Microgaming’s previous awards from the Isle of Man Newspapers awards includes the New Business and Program Development award in 2007, Company of the Year in 2008, as well as Business Person of the Year award, which was given to Microgaming’s CEO, Roger Raatgever, also in 2008.
Microgaming has been given praise by the Isle of Man Newspapers awards committee regarding their work both in the community, and in the Internet gaming industry. It was noted that the online casino software company has been a leader in the online gaming industry, with many industry innovations under their belts.
On explaining that innovation and independent thinking have been crucial to the company’s growth since they began their operations around a decade ago, Roger Raatgever, the Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming had the following to say: “This award recognizes our ability to harness the creativity and passion of our team to inspire the most inventive and cutting-edge games on the market. The Isle of Man is a dynamic place both to work and live, and is a leading jurisdiction in the e-Gaming industry. We are proud to call it home.”
Raatgever noted that Microgaming is looking forward to continuing with their contribution to the social and economic success of the Isle of Man, the island on which they are based.
