Residents of Mozambique, an independent state of Africa which is located on the eastern coast side of the continent, will be please to learn that the president has in fact signed law revisions into the gambling legislation which will legalize online gambling.

Along with the legalization of online gambling, there will also be new land measures put in place which will allow for slot machines to be put up in casino free areas.

Casinos will also be given permission to place casinos to be built anywhere they choose in the entire country, this will make a big difference in the country.

President Guebuza himself signed this new law which will also cut the minimum company investment that is requires from the $15,000,000 it was, down to $8,000,000.

This was a move which came as somewhat of a shock to the industry. This is due to the fact that Mozambique’s quiet approach to online gambling hasn’t received anywhere near the amount of attention that South Africa has received.
