Steve Fezzik, professional sports better in Las Vegas, Nevada has shown that luck really can shine down on you twice in a row. Fezzik finished the Hilton’s annual football handicapping Supercontest with the best record and won himself the grand prize.

This was the second year in a row that he achieved this win. This win brought Fezzik a win which totaled $196,800.

Jay Kornegay, the Las Vegas Hilton sports book‚Äôs executive director, has a difficult time even imagining such odds. “It’s such a long shot,” Kornegay said.

The Supercontest is a great win for anyone and it also makes for great bragging rights. However, Fezzik has doubled those bragging rights; he has an amazing story to tell. He had won over 328 other contest entrants.

The first win left Fezzik walking away with an extra $210,000. Although he won less cash this time around he says that he is more proud of this year’s performance. Half way through the season he was in 61’st place. It’s at that point that he began his upward run toward victory.

Fezzik put a lot of time and research on choosing his picks carefully. He also says that he tried to make sure that he made a point of not getting attached to a certain side. Whatever he did, one thing is for sure; he did it right.

Although luck had a lot to do with his win, careful research and selection on his part made all the difference.
