David Williams a Bodog Poker Pro has won the WPT championship and earned himself 1.5 million dollars.
Williams is a 29 year old poker player who rose to poker fame during 2004 when he participated in the World Series which took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Williams made his way to the final table and came in second behind Greg Raymer. David won his first WSOP bracelet in 2006 in the 7 Card Stud event.
When asked about how he feels Williams said he feels it is pretty awesome to have his first win be the biggest.
Williams won with pocket deuces and he said that he didn’t feel discouraged with his hand. He felt that he was either going to hit deuces and win or have the chip lead and continue fighting to win anyways.
Williams is a young poker player compared to most and he has proved that age doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to playing poker.
He has proved himself as a talented poker player and shown the poker world that he has what it takes to achieve success at the game.
He spends a lot of his time at Bodog.com where he plays online poker. This online poker site is the choice of many poker players and Williams has made quite a name both at Bodog and in the land based poker scene.
Williams has proved that he is one poker player that shouldn’t be underestimated and that others should keep their eye out for in future event.
