Betsafe has a large customer base of around 250,000, which is still growing. By the end of this year, Betsafe’s customers will be able to play the full suite of CryptoLogic’s online casino games, either in downloadable or non-download formats. A percentage of the wagers that the Betsafe customers place, will go to CryptoLogic as revenue.

CryptoLogic’s online casino games suite provided to Betsafe will operate using the Euro with an option to add other currencies at a later stage. Likewise, the languages offered in the beginning will be English, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian.

Brian Hadfield, CryptoLogic’s president and chief executive officer said "The agreement underlines CryptoLogic’s credentials as a trusted partner with branded and innovative proprietary games and a technology platform that is second to none. In line with our strategy, this deal also provides us with greater penetration into the Scandinavian market and is a further significant step towards our goal of profitability and long-term growth."

Henrik Persson, the chief executive at Betsafe expressed their delight with the agreement. He explained that the collaboration with CryptoLogic will help them to achieve their goal, which is to provide their customers "with the best gaming experience available."

Both companies, CryptoLogic and Betsafe, expect the online casino games to be available to Betsafe’s customers by the end of 2009.
