Bwin Poker is one of the more known online poker sites. It has proven to have what it takes to make it to the top of the list when it comes to great places to enjoy online poker.

When it comes to choosing an online poker site, players will have certain things they like to see in the site they decide is the right one for them.

Players will of course want to see a good selection of games, a user friendly design, trustworthy software, dependable customer support, secure banking options, and other options that are important to them.

However, bonuses are also a very big thing with online poker players. Players want to know that they are being given the opportunity to take advantage of a generous bonus offer when they choose an online poker site to join.

Bwin Poker is offering its players a great welcome bonus; it is worth 200% of their deposit. This is great for those new players just starting out.

This bonus is good for as much as $200 which is enough cash for players to play quite a bit of online poker with if they play their cards right.

New players will still want to be sure they read the terms and conditions of the bonus so they have a very clear understanding of how it all works and how they will need to go about clearing it to have access to the funds.

There has been a lot of speculation as to what has been going on with PartyGaming and bwin. The rumors can now be put to rest and the truth about what is going on has been revealed.

PartyGaming and bwin has just announced that they will merge and this is expected to be a very good thing for the two. Both are extremely well known and highly respected in the online gaming industry and the merger of them means a lot.

The Bloomberg News has valued this merger at just over 1.70 billion dollars. These companies have always appeared to be a good match and they apparently finally decided to put their strengths together in order to make one impressive presence.

Bwin is known for being one of the most well respected sportsbooking sites on the Internet. They welcome players with a great design and keep them satisfied with everything else they have to offer. PartyGaming is known for providing the ultimate in online poker and casino games.

It will take 75 percent of the bwin and PartyGaming shareholders to approve the merger. If that approval happens, then bwin will go ahead and transfer all of its assets and liabilities over to PartyGaming. The new company will then become incorporated in Gibraltar.

The new company will be run by the co-CEO of bwin Norbert Teufelberger and Jim Ryan, the CEO of PartyGaming.

This is expected to be a great merger for both of the companies and is definitely one to watch.

Two of the world’s larges Internet gambling companies, PartyGaming PLC and bwin Interactive Entertainment AG are presently in talks about a possible merger that could result in the creation of a multi-billion pound “gambling giant” that could control about 15 percent of the European online casino market.

It was reported recently that PartyGaming Plc, trading on the London Stock Exchange and valued at approximately 1 billion pounds and Austrian bookmaker, bwin Interactive Entertainment AG, trading on the Vienna Stock Exchange and valued at about 1.2 billion have been negotiating a merger for quite some time in an attempt to form a huge online casino, poker and sportsbetting operator with a value of more than $4 billion.

Despite these ongoing talks bwin’s head of investor relations, Konrad Sveceny, reported that negotiations were still at a preliminary stage and that they are also having some successful talks with many other competitors, including Italy’s Gioco Digitale.

At present bwin has the largest European market share among publicly listed online casino operators with 8 percent, PartyGaming is second with 6.3 percent and the closest competitor is the U.K.’s second-largest bookmaker, William Hill with 4.5 percent.

The fact that Bwin has one of the largest online sportsbook operations in the world and would like to increase its online poker numbers while PartyGaming has the fourth largest online poker room and wants to expand its sports betting business would see a merger between these two companies make a lot of sense.

There is bound to be a surge in mergers and acquisitions among gambling companies in Europe due to the anticipated opening of the U.S. online casino market.

Rumors of big business acquisitions seems to be the order of the day in the online gambling industry and bwin, one of the big names in the industry, seems to be in the thick of things. Less than a month after rumors of a merger between 888.com and bwin was shot down, comes another news item about the possible merger of PartyGaming looking to merge with, who else, bwin.

There have been rumors of the supposed PartyGaming – bwin merger for quite a while now, with the first drift emerging sometime this summer. However, the possibility of the deal actually crystallizing seemed to materialize only recently, when newspapers like the London Sunday Times first printed news about the possibility of the merger.

PartyGaming and bwin are two of the biggest online gaming organizations in Europe and a merger could lead to a new business entity valued at over $3 billion. However, PartyGaming has, in recent times, seen a decline in certain areas of its operations.

PartyGaming has recently been taking a hit in online poker. Its online poker division, Party Poker, has seen profits go downhill because of the decision not to operate in the US market after the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) of 2006 was passed in that country. It has also seen a slowdown in online sportsbetting recently with PartyBets, the online sports book division of the organization, almost coming to a standstill.

When you consider the fact that bwin has a strong presence in online sportsbetting, a merger between the two organizations seems to make perfect business sense. However, a Reuters report on Monday indicated that it might yet be early days to talk of a possible merger between the two outfits.

Speaking to Reuters, a spokesperson from bwin said, “We are always talking to everyone, because we believe that there will be more consolidation in the sector. (But) we are not in any advanced talks, including with PartyGaming.” There has been no word of confirmation or denial so far from PartyGaming.
