Washington Residents Banned from Full Tilt Real Cash Games

There are many Washington state residents that are not happy at all about some upsetting news they received on Friday about Full Tilt Poker, one of the most popular online poker sites. The very popular online poker site which is one of the top online poker sites just announced that it is no longer going to be accepting players who reside in the state of Washington when it comes to the sites real money games. This is due to the state’s Supreme Court ruling that Internet gambling was a Class C felony. Pokerstars was first of the two online poker sites to announce it would not be allowing Washington residents to play for real money, now Full Tilt has followed suit. These two online poker sites account for most of the online poker play in the US, as well as around the world. Statistics have shown that the two poker giants account for two-thirds of the online poker site traffic. Full Tilt and Pokerstars may have both decided to not allow Washington residents to play for real money, but their policies do differ a bit with regards to how they handling the policies. Players from the state of Washington will want to know that they won’t be able to enjoy real money games even when they are traveling outside the state’s borders. However, Full Tilt will allow Washington state residents to join in the real money games once they are located outside of the state.
