Complete Schedule of the Irish Open Announced

The complete schedule of the Irish Open 2010 is out. The schedule was announced today by PaddyPowerPoker.com, which also launched an online registration facility for the Open through a customized payment gateway on the event’s website. Individuals as well as cardrooms can register for the event through this gateway and pay through credit cards, checks, or direct bank transfer.

The schedule announced by PaddyPowerPoker.com includes the complete timetable of all the side events, which will take place in Dublin’s Burlington Hotel between 1st and 5th April, 2010. Dublin has been the home of the Irish Open 2007.

There are a number of side events scheduled around the Main Event of the Irish Open. The main event itself is a €3,200 + €300 NLH freezeout. It is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. on the 2nd of April 2010 and run through till the 5th of April.

Prior to the main event is a €200 + €20 NLH rebuy Super Satellite on 1st April 2010 at 7:00 p.m. On 3rd April 2010 is the €750 + €75 Pot Limit Omaha championship. This event is scheduled to run for two days. 4th April 2010 sees the start of two side events – the two-day long €1,500 + €150 NLH freezeout and the €300 + €30 Ladies NLH championship. On 5th April 2010 is the €270 + €30 NLH Scalps freezeout.

Players can also visit PaddyPowerPoker.com every Sunday and Tuesday for weekly super satellites to the main event of the Irish Open. Besides, there are a number of feeders running daily as well.

US President Invited to 2010 Paddy Power Poker.com Irish Open

Paddy Power, the Irish poker and casino operator, has announced that it has issued an invitation to US President Barack Obama to take part in the 2010 PaddyPowerPoker.com Irish Open in order to celebrate the anniversary of the President’s inauguration.

The 2010 Irish Open which takes place in the Burlington Hotel in Dublin from Friday 2nd to Monday 5th April 2010 is the longest running No Limited Texas Hold’em poker tournament in Europe and the second longest in the world after the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
