There are many different pokerrooms on the net where you can play. The most important thing when choosing one is feeling well there. It is a subjective thing if a player is confident with a poker room or not. One person feels well if the graphics are brilliant, the other if the support is fine.

But all players have one thing in common. They play to win some money. Every round, the winning player pays a certain fee to the poker room, the so called rake. This fee is deducted automatically from his winnings. But there are huge differences of paid rake between the different poker rooms. This is sometimes more than four times higher than in other poker rooms. To calculate the best rake we combine the rake structures of most of the different poker rooms with the average pot size and the average percentage of players seeing the flops. Further you are able to change some default inputs, like average pot size and your percentage of seeing the flops. For the first we calculate with your given average rake, for the second we calculate that you win or lose 25% more of the games as if you are seeing the flop for our default amount, which is given by every single poker room for every different stake. If you see many flops, you will win more hands because you win with cards that normally are folded before the flop is shown, as their winning percentages are normally very low.
Further, some poker rooms offer rakeback or cashback / loyality programs. The rakeback is already deducted in our calculation. But not the cashback programs, because you get activity points for playing, no direct money. So this is not really calculable.
