TRADITIONAL RUMMY

Traditional Rummy as the name suggests is the oldest form of the game, the game that all other versions of Rummy now known are based upon. Traditional Rummy uses of a standard 52 card deck and each player is dealt 10 cards to start.

Players create their melds in sets and or runs in 3 or 4 card combinations, the overall aim is to the be the first player to have run out of cards doing so by laying melds and/or discarding the final card. Aces can be used in high or low sequences such as ace 2 3 or ace, king, queen, an Aces always count as 11 points. Melds can be laid down and added to at any time as long as it’s that player’s turn throughout the game.

Very simple to play and really great fun, Traditional Rummy is still one of the best skill games available, now even more so since it’s online player base is growing day by day. Be the first player to run out of cards and you’re the winner!!
